The Ethics Commission issues penalties to individuals and groups that violate the laws administered by the Commission. Typically, penalties can be up to $5,000 per violation or three times the amount that a person unlawfully accepted, gave, or failed to report. The following table lists all cases in which the Commission has issued monetary penalties. This includes penalties agreed to as part of a settlement and penalties issued as part of a hearing.
