SUMMARY OF ACTIONS TAKEN AT FEBRUARY 13, 2006 MEETING
At a special meeting on
February 13, 2006
, the San Francisco Ethics Commission took the following action:
- Considered draft Statements of Incompatible Activities (“SIAs”) from ten City departments, boards and commissions. These SIAs identify activities that are incompatible, inconsistent or in conflict with the duties of City officers and employees.&
#0160; The Commission received testimony from members of the public, Controller Ed Harrington and Department of Building Inspection Director Amy Lee, employees of the Department of Building Inspection, a representative of SEUI Local 790 and interested persons. The Commission will continue its consideration of the draft statements on a future date.
The Commission will hold its next regular monthly meeting on a special date on
February 27, 2006
at
5:30 p.m.
in Room 400 City Hall.

The Ethics Commission, established in November 1993, serves the public, City employees and officials and candidates for public office through education and enforcement of ethics laws. Its duties include: filing and auditing of campaign finance disclosure statements, lobbyist and campaign consultant registration and regulation, administration of the public financing program, whistleblower program, conflict of interest reporting, investigations and enforcement, education and training, advice giving and statistical reporting.
