The staff of the San Francisco Ethics Commission will hold two interested persons meetings to discuss draft regulations that are intended to implement the City’s Lobbyist Ordinance, found at San Francisco Campaign and Governmental Conduct Code section 2.100 et seq.
An ordinance amending the Lobbyist Ordinance was recently passed by the Board of Supervisors and has been forwarded to the Mayor for signature. A copy of that ordinance is available here.
In anticipation of the amendments taking effect, staff will introduce and solicit public comment on draft regulations that implement the changes to the law and otherwise interpret the Lobbyist Ordinance, prior to submitting the regulations to the Ethics Commission for consideration.
The draft regulations are available here and may also be obtained by contacting the Ethics Commission staff at the address below.
