Please be aware that new regulations interpreting and implementing the City’s Lobbyist Ordinance take effect today. These regulations are available on the Commission’s website. The new regulations were approved by the Ethics Commission on July 28th.
The Ethics Commission has also issued a revised version of its Lobbyist Manual, which incorporates the new regulations and is designed to help lobbyist comply with their obligations under the Lobbyist Ordinance. A copy of the updated Lobbyist Manual is also available on the Commission’s website.
Finally, please be aware that Ethics Commission staff is still in the process of updating its online lobbyist training. The updated training will be available on the Commission’s website in the near future.
