The San Francisco Ethics Commission intends to consider at its June 22, 2015 regular meeting whether to place a measure on the November 2015 ballot, which would reinstate reporting and other requirements for “expenditure lobbyists.” City law had required expenditure lobbyist reporting prior to 2010, when a re-written version of the City’s lobbyist ordinance took effect.
An interested persons meeting will be held to solicit input from the public regarding this possible measure as well as any other directly related issues. A draft of the proposal is available at the Ethics Commission’s website.
Written comments regarding the proposal are also welcomed, and can be sent via email to jesse.mainardi@sfgov.org, or via regular mail to San Francisco Ethics Commission, attn: Jesse Mainardi, 25 Van Ness Avenue, Suite 220, San Francisco, CA 94102.
For questions about the above meetings, please contact Jesse Mainardi at the number below.
We hope to see you at a meeting.
