Subject: Agenda Item 8 – Discussion and possible action on beginning an Executive Director recruitment process
On September 30, 2022, Executive Director Pelham notified the Commission of her decision to resign her position effective January 23, 2023. A copy of Director Pelham’s resignation letter is attached.
This item has been placed on the Commission’s October 14th agenda to enable the Commission to discuss and take possible action to begin an Executive Director recruitment process. A representative from the Department of Human Resources will be present at that meeting to advise the Commission about the executive search process. To facilitate the Commission’s discussion, I have attached a copy of the Executive Director position announcement, which was used in 2015 for the Commission’s last Executive Director recruitment.
