This agenda item provides a brief update on disclosures recently filed by San Francisco political committees. No action is required by the Commission, as this item is for informational purposes only.
Background
July 31st was the deadline for political committees to file the semi annual campaign statement (Form 460) disclosing their fundraising and spending during the first half of calendar year 2024. These filings indicate an unprecedented level of spending on San Francisco’s November election. Staff will use the tools available on the Commission’s website to provide a high level overview of the most recent totals. This presentation seeks to provide information to the Commission and the public about the scope and nature of current political spending in the City.
