NOTICE OF SPECIAL JOINT MEETING WITH
THE COMPLIANCE & AMENDMENTS COMMITTEE
OF THE SUNSHINE ORDINANCE TASK FORCE
April 13, 2012 2:00 P.M.

NOTE: This is a special joint meeting of the Ethics Commission with the Compliance & Amendments Committee of the Sunshine Ordinance Task Force; it is not on the usual day or time of the Commission's regular monthly meetings.

  1. Call to order and roll call.
  2. Discussion of draft amendments to the Commission's regulations governing the handling of complaints related to alleged violations of the Sunshine Ordinance and referrals from the SOTF. Commission staff prepared an earlier version of the draft amendments, which were forwarded to the SOTF for review and comments on August 17, 2010. On August 1, 2011, the SOTF provided comments, along with alternate proposals. At its meeting on November 14, 2011, the Commission began consideration of a revised set of proposals from staff. At the April 13, 2012 joint meeting, members of the Commission and the SOTF will discuss the revised proposals. The proposed amendments, along with documents submitted by staff and the Compliance & Amendments Committee, will be available in the Commission office and on its website. There will be an opportunity for public comment. (Discussion.)

If any materials related to an item on this agenda have been distributed to the Ethics Commission after distribution of the agenda packet, those materials are available for public inspection at the Ethics Commission, 25 Van Ness Avenue, Suite 220, San Francisco, during normal office hours.

Please be advised that the Chair may order the removal from the meeting room of any person(s) responsible for the ringing or use of a cell phone, pager, or other similar sound-producing devices.
