Announcement of Interested Persons Meetings to Discuss Possible Amendments to San Francisco’s Campaign Finance Reform Ordinance

The staff of the San Francisco Ethics Commission will hold two interested persons meetings to discuss possible changes to the City’s Campaign Finance Reform Ordinance (“CFRO”), found at San Francisco Campaign and Governmental Conduct Code section 1.100 et seq.

Staff is specifically interested in soliciting public comment on potential changes to CFRO’s disclaimer and third-party reporting provisions. Discussion at the two interested persons meetings will be limited to these two topics.

Staff plans to distribute draft CFRO amendments to interested parties prior to the November 10 and 13 meetings.
