Officers and certain employees of the City & County of San Francisco are required by state and local law to receive training regarding ethics and sunshine laws.
Sunshine Ordinance Declaration
All City officers and employees who file Statements of Economic Interests with the San Francisco Ethics Commission must also file the Sunshine Ordinance Declaration form annually with the Ethics Commission, no later than April 1st. A filer who assumes office after April 1st must file this form within 30 days of the date that the filer is sworn in or assumes employment. Ethics Commission Reg. 67.33-1. Certificate of Ethics Training
All City officers and designated employees who are required to file Statements of Economic Interests (“SEIs”) must receive ethics training under California Government Code section 53235 (AB 1234) and the San Francisco Campaign and Governmental Conduct Code (C&GCC) § 3.205 within thirty (30) days of assuming office and every year thereafter, by April 1st.
