This notice is to remind you of the electronic filing requirements
under San Francisco Campaign and Governmental Code section
1.112(b). Committees that meet the requirements of section
1.112(b) are now required to file electronically the Fair Political
Practices Commission Form 465 for all reports due to be filed on or
after July 1, 2009. Committees must continue to file Form 465 in
paper format (including an original signature) with the Ethics
Commission in addition to the new electronic filing requirement.
Committees subject to electronic filing requirements must have an
electronic filing account with the Ethics Commission to file electronic
statements. To satisfy this requirement, committees may directly
enter their filing information into SFEDS or upload electronic
statements generated by third-party vendors certified by the Secretary
of State. Any electronic statements generated by third-party
vendors must use California Secretary of State’s CAL format version
