On Monday, August 2nd, the Ethics Commission sent out a communication to departments with the subject line [Ethics Form 700 E-Filing Expansion Project | Confirm your Form 700 Designated Filers by September 15th] seeking action on critical next steps in the transition to electronic filing for all Form 700 designated filers. This email is a general reminder that the deadline to complete the designated filers worksheet is September 15th.
Please note that departments that do not complete this filer confirmation process by September 15th will be unable to take advantage of the bulk import of this data and instead will need to manually enter each of their designated filers directly into the Netfile system after that time.

If you cannot locate the original email with your designated filers worksheet attached, please contact us via the Ethics Commission Support Portal. If your department already maintains an updated list of designated filers with their Conflict of Interest code positions and disclosure categories, we may be able to assist with transferring that data onto the worksheet. If you would like our assistance or have any other difficulties or concerns with filing out the provided worksheet, please also reach out to us through the support portal.
