Each lobbyist must complete a lobbyist training session offered by the Ethics Commission within one year of the lobbyist’s initial registration. (San Francisco Campaign and Governmental Conduct Code §2.116) This lobbyist training covers changes to the Lobbyist Ordinance that takes effect on January 1, 2010. This training, designed for lobbyists and lobbyist organizations, will explain filing and reporting obligations. Included will be discussions on how to use the San Francisco Electronic Disclosure System which is the Ethics Commission’s online filing system.
Future Lobbyist Ordinance trainings will be posted on the web in the form of training videos. If you miss this live training on January 13, 2010, you may meet the training requirement under section 2.116 by watching the Lobbyist Ordinance Training web video on the Ethics Commission’s Education page and then fill out the online survey titled, “Lobbyist Ordinance Training Verification Survey” to verify you have met the training requirement.

*An R.S.V.P. is required to aid in reducing paper waste by producing an exact number of handouts for participants.
